FRRME is a small UK-based charity achieving big changes. We work in some of the world’s most dangerous countries and facilitate the unique and important work of Canon Andrew White in Iraq, Jordan, Israel and Palestine – convinced that God has not forgotten their people.

Canon Andrew White, President of FRRMEMy name is Canon Andrew White and I am the Emeritus Vicar of St. George’s Church in Baghdad and President of FRRME.

Sadly, recent events in Iraq have meant that I am no longer permanently based at St. Georges. However, FRRME continues to do amazing work in bringing relief and reconciliation to the broken parts of the Middle East.

Our current focus is helping those who have fled ISIS in Northern Iraq, as well as the thousands of refugees who have fled to Jordan to escape the violence. In addition to spiritual support we provide food, medicine and shelter. We have also set up a school in Jordan so that refugee children from Iraq can continue their education. It is vital that we continue this work. Without FRRME’s support and your generous donations these people have nothing.

We are also renewing our focus on the peace process in Israel / Palestine and I am very pleased to announce the launch in September of the Jerusalem International School of Reconciliation, or JISR (meaning “Bridge” in Arabic). JISR is the first project of its kind and will provide a platform for key religious leaders of the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths to come together and introduce the power of reconciliation to an international audience.

FRRME’s work has grown considerably over the years and there is so much more to do. Your donations make our work possible and provide comfort and relief to our brothers and sisters in the Middle East who face enormous hardship. If you would like to donate to FRRME and support our work you can do so on this website.

Thank you.

Caring for the Sex Slaves
I am here in with Dr Sarah Ahmed who heads up all of our work in the North of Iraq. Apart from our huge work providing relief work, health care, housing and education for children in Jordan and Iraq we are doing a huge amount of work with the women and girls who have been rescued as sex slaves. This is a huge work that we have not been able to really speak much about. The needs of these young women are massive. Those who have been got back are obviously so distraught. They have been sex slaves and lost everything. We now have two centres to help and restore them physically and mentally. Soon we are going to have to help to provide orphanages for the children born as a result of this unmentionable trauma. It all seems too awful to be true but it is. This is our family; these are our brothers and sisters. We cannot do this work on our own we need you to help us. Will you please this is the work of our Lord. Will you Pray for Peace and Pay for Peace.
