God’s heart has always been towards reconciling the world He created into a relationship with Himself. Easter is the time that the hope becomes reality. At FRRME we believe part of this process of reconciliation is through helping the poor and dispossessed. At a time when 3 million Iraqis are displaced from their homes, FRRME is providing emergency relief by feeding up to 30,000 people each month in Iraq, and caring for a further 700 households of Iraqi Christians in Jordan.
The set of four fridge magnets, available this Easter, feature some of these Internally Displaced People (IDPs), along with the verse from Matthew 25:35.
‘For I was hungry and you gave me food, and I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in.’ (Aramaic Bible).
The £5 cost of purchase (plus £2.20 p&p) raises enough funds to provide a tracksuit, or shirt and shorts, giving hope to an IDP who will have left their home with only the clothes on their backs.
