Keeping you informed

Every Friday we publish our Weekly Media Summary which includes a selection of news stories about the region in which we work. Currently, we operate in northern Iraq, Baghdad and Amman. Unfortunately, much of the online news these days is behind paywalls but we will do our best to share content which is free to view.

In this week’s media summary there is an article about the murder of two Christian doctors in Baghdad. This terrible crime appears to be a targeted attack rather than a random killing and has shocked ordinary Iraqis. We have also included a moving story about a Syrian refugee baby. Sadly, she was born with a congenital heart defect but is alive today thanks to Vatican paediatricians. These heroic doctors came to Amman at a moment’s notice to perform life-changing surgery free of charge.
