Keeping you informed

Every Friday we publish our Weekly Media Summary, a selection of news stories about the region in which we work. Currently, our projects are in northern Iraq, Baghdad and Amman. Much of the online news these days is behind paywalls but we will do our best to share content which is free to view.

This week’s media summary includes articles about the plight of Christians in northern Iraq. There is also an article about the ongoing instability in Jordan which has been caused by economic hardship. We have also included an article about the stand-off between the state of Israel and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

Verse of the Day

He has saved us and called us to a holy life – not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. 2 Timothy 1:9 NIV
